THINGS MOVE BUT THEY DON'T SAY ANYTHING
Things Move But They Do Not Say Anything is a dance piece informed by ideas of permanence and persistence. The choreography is performed by a female cast of dancers. The sound score for the piece is entirely created by the live transmission and amplification of the sounds created through the dancer’s on-stage movements and physical presence throughout the performance. The piece draws upon the processes of transformation and repetition that are found in Nature, whilst avoiding any and all attempts at figurative representations of these phenomena.

Things Move But They Do Not Say Anything is a full-length choreographic work that is radically rooted in foregrounding the real-time, lived presence of the women themselves. These are resistant and insistent bodies in equal measure; these are bodies subjected to unpredictable, diverse, intense forces. These are female bodies drawing upon a shared heritage of being resilient and present in this turning world.
