
TEACHINGS-WORKSHOPS-ARTISTIC ACCOMPANIMENT
My artistic project has an integral vocation from its beginnings, as I conceive dance creation in continuous conversation with teaching. Research and mediation are two interconnected practices in the development of my work, and allow it to be updated and disseminated.
My teaching practice is underpinned by the multidimensional character of dance; as an artistic practice that takes place in the linking of the psycho-physical-social dimensions of the human being. Regardless of the format, all my teaching practice is conceived and focused on influencing these different spheres simultaneously. The orientations and corrections go in the direction of increasing the integration and autonomy of the student. In general terms, in the pedagogical spaces that I promote, I offer, in addition to the physical tools of dance, tools for attention to facilitate the processes of learning and exchange.
I am also aware of the collective nature of dance and the responsibility that comes with leading a group, so I consider it an essential condition to create and sustain a favourable and safe environment to ensure that each of its members can unfold their full creative potential. Within this framework, my pedagogical pillars when leading groups are, on the one hand, to recognise each student in his or her individuality and integrity and, on the other hand, to generate the support of the group, encouraging cooperation through the recognition and celebration of the differences between each of its members.
