THE COMMON GROUND
The Common Ground is a dance sextet that works with the relationship between the diverse (diversity) and the common (community) from a fictional choreographic approach that evokes fantastic dimensions, passing through the monstrous and the mythical.
2024

The cast is composed of six performers, four performers who migrated to Spain and two Spanish natives. Each with their own cultural heritage and artistic background, incarnating in their bodies and identities the crossing of multiple cultural lineages.
The project is supported by Condeduque - Centro de Cultura Contemporánea (Madrid) and the Festival Danza Metropolitana (Barcelona), the Madrid City Council and the Community of Madrid, and the collaboration of La Briqueterie (Paris) and Azcuna Zentroa (Bilbao).
